I would like to know if there is any restriction regarding the clothing that we can use exclusively in front of our husbands (when husband and wife are alone) I heard that we cannot use clothing that is specific to the disbelievers. However, what is considered specific to the disbelievers when you want to beautify yourself for your husband? Can we wear high heels, short dresses and leggings and jeans in front of our husbands? What about make up? May Allah reward you with goodness.
You can wear anything in front of your husband while you are alone with him, including high heels and jeans, and yes, you can wear make up.
The clothes specific to the disbelievers are those clothes that are known to be worn by only disbelievers, so if a type of clothing is spread amongst Muslims and is worn by Muslims, then this is not considered specific to the disbelievers. (For example the traditional Scottish clothes for men are only worn by disbelievers, no Muslim wear this) as for the jeans they are used and worn by Muslims all over the world.
