I live in bilad al-kuffr (disbelievers land) and I want to give charity to the beggars, I would like to give them money but I think that they would spend it in others than food so I prefer to give them food. Is this correct?
First you need to find a needy Muslim who is at least praying. Muslims are a priority to your charity.
If this money is a due Zakah then you have to give it as money to one of the 8 categories eligible for Zakah, and you are not allowed to give it as food, but if it is a voluntary charity then yes you can give it in the form of food.
