Touching Quran Without Ablution

Is it allowed for a Muslim to grab the Mushaf without previously doing ablution? What is the ruling on grabbing the translated Quran? What happens when the translation has Arabic letters? Is it allowed to grab it wearing gloves? May Allah reward you.

Zaynab El-Kateb:

Yes, a Muslim can hold a Mushaf without ablution, but it is “Mustahab” (highly recommended) to make ablution before holding it.
As for the translation of the meaning of the Quran, this is not a Mushaf, even if Arabic verses appear.
If the woman has her menstrual cycle she can hold the Mushaf with gloves, but as for the translation of the meanings she can hold it without gloves, it does not have the ruling of Mushaf.
