What is the ruling on wearing heels to a wedding if they are shown (not deceitful regarding height) for short period of time? They would not be worn on the way, but put on once reaching the women only venue just for adornment and if no big risk of hurting oneself as just a plain simple hall no stairs or obstructions that would make dangerous.
May Allah reward you with goodness.
The Scholars say that high heel has several faults:
- It is deceiving and appearing in a state which is not true as it makes you taller.
- It could bring pride and arrogance to your heart.
- It is the habit of disbelievers, and this was initiated by a jew woman according to the saying of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. So here it is imitation of disbelievers.
- It is harmful to your body, Allah created your heel to be flat with your foot and toes, it was medically proven that wearing high heels affect the bones and the body.
Accordingly, even if you wear it amongst women, the least ruling is that it is a hateful act.
