Employer Lying About Employee Experience

Question:

     السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

I agreed to work in a company for 3 years as a Design Engineer. Now I came to know that this job includes some haraam issues including lying, cheating. To use an analyzing software, one must possess some (say 5 or more) years of experience depending upon the respective softwares.

I don’t possess any sound knowledge with these softwares. I’m learning through the internet only. If the client knows that the one who is working with the given software doesn’t possess any experience (like me), they will not give this job to us. But my boss hides these kind of issues from them. If any issues occur with the results we’ve submitted to them, me and my company are the responsibles.

So my question is, what is the ruling on doing this job? Is it allowed?

Initially I agreed to work for 3 years, now only 4 months have passed, if the job is haraam, is it permissible for me to break this agreement and search for a new job or am I sinful for doing this?
Jazakallahu Khayran

Shaikh Adel As-Sayyed:

وعليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته

There is nothing haraam upon you, you are not sinful by being in this job, because the one who hired you knows that you are not experienced. Anyone knows that people need a couple of years to gain experience, so there is nothing wrong with this. If any cheating is occurring it is not upon you, rather it is upon the employer. Therefore, there is nothing wrong with you working at this job.
