Giving to a child whatever he demands

Question:

I have two kids, one is stubborn and demands more. He often demands expensive toys and most of the time we fulfill his demand. The other one demands less Alhamdu llillah. We cannot afford expensive things for both of the kids, so we compromise with the younger one. Will this be considered as discrimination and will there be any sin upon us? May Allah reward you with goodness.

Sheikh Adel As-Sayed:

This stubborn child has to be handled with care and wisdom. Yes, as an exception you can buy him what he wants but do not make him get used to having whatever he wants, children who get used to having what they want might steal money if the parents refused to give them the money.
